"Special At-Home Worship Service #1"

We wanted to let everyone know that we did not meet together physically as a congregation this week because we wanted to protect our FCC family from any ripple effects from the novel coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). But we did provide an “at-home” version of a service for households to go through together.

We understand that it's hard to feel disconnected at this time when so many people are panicking and living in fear -- and maybe even feeling alone and vulnerable -- but we also know that the best way that we can keep one another safe is to prevent the spread of infection. That’s why we will be sending daily emails to everyone in the church family to help people know that we’re thinking of everyone.

With that in mind, let me also share some “getting through this” suggestions:

1) Please take good care of yourselves. Don't go out unless you have to, and wash your hands liberally and consistently with soapy water.

2) Please let people know what you need, but also what you might have on hand that other people need. In fact, our church has set up a network to try to help people share items back and forth to help one another -- please feel free to contact our office know what you need or what you can share with others.

3) Above all, most importantly, pray. Remember that God is sovereign and that the best thing that any of us can do is to trust in Him and not fall victim to fear and panic. Be an encouragement to those around you, and know that we're all praying for all of you as well.
