FCC & World Missions

First Covenant is committed to supporting missionaries around the world and here at home.  We want to live out the verse in Colossians where Paul tells the church "All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God's grace in all its truth" (Col 1:6).  For more information on our missionaries or missions programs, contact Linda Irwin (676-2590).

We also have a heart for sharing the gospel ourselves with the community, so that we can truly echo in our lives Christ's commands to His disciples: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" (Acts 1:8).  For more information on local outreach, contact Pastor Kevin (688-4323).

JMETs:

Once a month, grade-school-age children take part in their own special JMETs mission during the Sunday woship service with our Junior Missions Exploration Team.  As part of the missions ministry of our church, JMETs introduces children to far-off countries and cultures, to missionaries home from the field, and otherwise opens them up to the needs of the world at large.
