 (a Covenant Student Ministries group)

Intersection is the name of our Covenant Student Ministry youth group that meets at First Covenant. It is open to students in grades 7-12, and visitors are welcome. It is led by our youth director, Brian Sendelbach, and his wife, Julie.
Wednesday Night Schedule
Our group meetings on Wednesday evenings typically include fun, games, Bible study and refreshments. These meetings usually last from 6:30-8:45 PM and meet at the church house. Our lesson series is currently on "Spiritual Exercises." Our theme for the year finding our Identity in Christ.
We also work to incorporate at least one outreach activity each month (such as leading a children’s program at the South Side Mission, etc.), and at least one time where we can just get together for fun, such as playing mini-golf or ultimate Frisbee, bowling, etc., as a fellowship-builder. We will be going on a mini-mission trip to JPUSA (Jesus People USA) in mid Fall.
We also have a yearly retreat, regular service opportunities, fun trips and other activities. All students are encouraged to invite their friends to join us, too.
Sunday School
The youth in Intersection also attend Sunday School each week. We are currently studying the life of Paul through a video series called "Paul in Rome." This series was shot on scene in Rome with David Nasser.
